making colored sugar!

i lololove this post that i just saw from Pink Sugar Cupcake Mommy...it's seriously SO cute and SO amazing... and of course i lololove the color she chose to showcase: PINK.

and i'm sure when you breakdown cost, there's no comparison to buying it... i'd have to do the math, but i'm sure hands down it's way cheaper... 

so, without further ado...here's how we do it! :)

INGREDIENTS

***1 cup white sugar***

***2 drops any color liquid food color***

DIRECTIONS

***place sugar into jar with a tight fitting lid... 

***drip food coloring onto a tooth pick and put in the sugar, close the lid, and shake vigorously for about 1 minute...

***adjust color with additional food coloring and repeat if color is too light...

see? amazing, right!?

now... RUN, don't walk & get your sugar on! :)
