keep your chin up...

so, yesterday i posted about how it is better to hope in all things than to despair. i'm having to remind myself of that lots today! my very first post was kind of a downer in the dumps talking about meanies & things of that sort. well, that's gotten much better, yet not 100%, but that's okay. after various thinking & discussions with husband & brother, i've came to the conclusion that you can be civil/kind to people without having to be their friend & necessarily 'like' them. i try to show God's love to everyone, even if i don't 'like' them or what they do... these meanies haven't really done anything recently to me, but negative attitudes are exhausting. i'm not saying that i have never ever had one; i'll be the first to admit that i have -- and probably worse than most, but outside looking in, i can't imagine living life like that constantly. i know that there are plenty of other variables that i am not aware of, but i guess i'm just venting. all i can do is pray & hope in this negative despair. SO, if you're going through something a little fishy today, just keep that chin up! keep it up high toward the sky! look to your Father above...

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 KJV).

***as a sidenote, isn't it amazing to look back at life & see God changing & forming & shaping you. we all have long ways to go & will never be perfect, but it is amazing to see the seasons the Lord brings us through. this season the Lord is working on my heart to break my stubborness, quick to admit wrongdoing, focusing on your own faults rather than others, to stay out of other's business & whenever people are negative, keep my chin up & shake it off! it's not easy, it's a work in progress, but it sure is an amazing feeling to see how far He's taken you.***
